Jenna – Owner

Hi, My name is Jenna, and I am the proud owner of Pawsitively Purfect Salon since 2015!

I have been grooming for 14 years. I graduated from K9 cosmetology school. I have enjoyed everything about owning a business—getting to know every client and knowing each dog! I own the business with my wonderful husband, Cody, who you probably don’t see a lot, but he is around fixing stuff and making our salon even better than it already is.

In my free time, I love spending time with my farm animals and spending time with my family.

I want to thank everyone for all the support through the years. Pawsitively Purfect Salon is my home, and I couldn’t have asked for a better staff and support system!

I started my career in the pet industry when I was in high school. Pawsitively Purfect Salon has been my home full-time for almost six years, but I started grooming with Jenna back in 2015. What I love most about my trade is building genuine relationships with the “hooman” and four-legged clients, knowing I can be trusted and genuinely care about your fur balls. I’m pretty sure everyone knew Big H, my English Mastiff, who passed away last year from cancer. He was always loved by so many of you. I now have two little guys—Dwight and Wilbur, who you’ll usually see me with at the Bark Park after a day of grooming. My summers are filled with camping, hiking, and kayaking adventures when I’m not pampering your companions!

As a child, I was fascinated with dogs and knew I wanted a career working with them one day. I spend my free time training my four personal dogs and taking them to competitions. I travel all over the country to compete in antler shed hunting, dock diving, frisbee, fast cat, scent work, and agility. My favorite breeds to work with are Poodles and Spaniels. It's my goal to give your pup a cute and functional haircut at the salon. But most importantly, I always want your pup to feel loved and safe.

I started as a bather for the groomers then worked my way up to a groomer myself. I am so thankful for the girls here that have taught me so much. I have always had a huge love for animals, especially dogs. I love how I can pamper pups and make them feel safe. When I’m not grooming, I’m spending time with my Poodle, Dolly, plus friends and family!

I have been with the Pawsitively Purfect Salon family for over a year now. I love getting to work with animals and making your fur babies look and smell their best. Outside of work, I enjoy being out in the sun hiking with my three dogs, playing a round of golf, or hanging out with friends.

My favorite thing about being a professional dog groomer is forming bonds with all the furry friends! When I’m not grooming, I love spending time with my husband and son as well as our two dogs.

I most enjoy grooming Yorkies or doing Terrier pattern trims. The love of my life is English Bulldogs, and you'll find one sitting by my feet as I groom every day.

I started volunteering with dogs when I was a teenager, and it inspired my career. Through the years, I've worked with all aspects of dogs, including behavior training, sporting, rescues, and veterinary care field; and I have raised puppies for more than 12 years. All this experience helped make me a better groomer. When I'm not grooming dogs, chances are I'm still probably spending time on my farm with my dogs or probably talking someone's ear off about dogs! I look forward to making your pets look and feel their best.

I have always had a passion for caring for animals ever since I was a child! I found my passion after working at a pet store for a few years and knew I wanted to learn to pamper pups and make sure they are treated as family members. Every pup is treated as my own, and I am sure to make them feel their very best at each appointment! I have my own fur babies at home—one English Setter, Loretta Lynn, whom I love getting to bring to work each day; my Great Dane, Remi; and my fat orange kitty, Bullet! When I'm not at work, I enjoy going to the dirt races with my husband, sister, and her husband!

I have enjoyed getting to know all of our clients and their fur babies. Helping all of our groomers with their animals has been very rewarding, and I have learned so much. I'm excited about the possibilities that this business gives me, and I hope to attend grooming school in the near future. I love being able to bring my own pup, Willow, every day to work. When I’m not at the shop, I love going on hikes with her and spending time with all of my other pets and family.

I knew at a young age that I wanted to work with animals, and I have finally found a career that I am very passionate about. I cater to each dog's needs and bond with them like they’re my own. I have a 7-year-old German Shepherd named Bruno whose life motto is “ball is life.” German Shepherds are one of my favorite breeds to groom, which are also a misunderstood breed. They’re special in their own way, as I kind of see in myself. I have a very enthusiastic personality, and I use that to make a pup’s grooming experience enjoyable and relaxing. I gain a great deal of respect from owners that are trusting me with their pup to know that they’re cared for and are in a safe environment.

I have been grooming for 4 years and have loved every second of it. It's not often you find such a tasking job that is so rewarding. Working with dogs and cats from all backgrounds is one of the most heartwarming thing I've come to experience in my career. I have one fur baby at home named Champa, and I enjoy spending my free time baking cakes and desserts for everyone I know.

At a young age I always knew I wanted to work with animals. At first I never thought I would be a dog groomer. I wanted to be a K9 officer. Now that I’m a groomer I couldn’t imagine doing anything else. Not everyone can say they love their job but I definitely can! Nothing is more rewarding than to make your pups look their best and create a special bond with them each appointment. On my off days I hang out with my family and my 3 pups.
